In late March 2026, Joanna Kniter from Motus Foundation travelled to Elbląg, Poland, to represent the project at the Interreg South Baltic Synergy Meeting — a two-day event hosted by the Elbląg Seaport Authority, bringing together partners from three complementary Interreg South Baltic projects: DigiTechPort2030, PortSHAZ, and INCONE60 Green. The meeting took place in the historic Old Town Hall, providing a fitting backdrop for two days of knowledge exchange and forward-looking discussion on the future of small and medium-sized ports in the Baltic Sea region.
The first day featured expert presentations on port development, regional logistics, and the EU regulatory landscape for decarbonisation, alongside an interactive workshop on the Green Energy Transition Tool — one of DigiTechPort2030’s key outputs. The afternoon study visit to the Port of Elbląg was a particular highlight, offering a first-hand look at the port’s development and — most notably — the solar panels co-financed by DigiTechPort2030, a tangible example of the project’s real-world impact.
On the second day, the DigiTechPort2030 consortium gathered for its internal partner meeting. Motus Foundation took an active role in the programme, presenting the project’s communication and dissemination progress to the full partnership — covering activities delivered so far and plans for the project’s final phase.
A full recap of the Synergy Meeting is available on the DigiTechPort2030 website.
