The Motus Foundation, represented by Julia Kosiek, had the honor of participating in the second General Assembly of the HYPOBATT project in Bilbao, Spain on the 27th and 28th of June 2023. This pivotal event served as a significant milestone, where project partners united to commemorate the project’s first anniversary through a series of productive meetings and discussions. The occasion was of utmost importance, fostering face-to-face interactions among stakeholders within an environment of intellectual exchange.
Alongside the General Assembly, our organization had the privilege of co-organizing the inaugural public workshop on sustainable marine transport in collaboration with the project consortium and Bilbao PortLab. This extraordinary gathering showcased not only the remarkable achievements of the HYPOBATT and BilbOPS projects but also featured expert presentations on critical subjects such as the digitalization of marine on-shore power supply (OPS), port electrification, autonomous vessels, and sustainable approaches to port operations. The workshop served as a platform for knowledge sharing and fostering innovative solutions within the realm of marine transport sustainability.
