The 2016 edition of the Baltic Ports Conference has been a special event which celebrated the 25th Anniversary of the Baltic Ports Organization. Within the framework of the BPO anniversary events the HEKLA project Coordination Meeting was held as the side event of the Conference.
Coordination meeting gathered the beneficiaries of the HEKLA project and project managers from Actia Forum. The meeting served summarizing the project progress and discussing the most pending issues related to project implementation. It was also an opportunity to summarize the HEKLA on-the-road campaign that was being implemented in the period March – June 2016, in Sopot (Poland), Riga (Latvia) and Vilnius (Lithuania) and approached the stakeholders representing different sectors, including maritime industry, transport and energy.
Next HEKLA project coordination meeting has been scheduled in April 2017.
