Last week (7-8 of September 2022) Motus Foundation Team had an opportunity to join the Baltic Ports Conference.
It was a pleasure to be there and experience such many interesting presentations and discussions. We could hear more about geopolitical shifts and the associated impact on energy security and trade in the Baltic Sea Region or Europe’s ongoing effort to make the transport sector more sustainable via a range of green initiatives, such as the European Green Deal and the Fit for 55 package. Other topics included also sustainable fuels for shipping, green energy-related investments in ports (offshore wind), and the most interesting technology trends.
A big thank you to the Baltic Ports Organization (BPO) and Port of Gdynia Authority S.A. (the port was celebrating its 100 anniversary) for inviting us!
