Green InfraPort project is finished.

Green InfraPort project is finished.

Green InfraPort was a project financed by EUSBSR Seed Money Facility and developed by three partners: Baltic Ports Organization (Estonia, a lead partner), SSPA Sweden AB (Sweden) and Motus Foundation (Poland).

Project started in February 2016 and ended in March 2017. It addressed few environmental developments and challenges for port industry within the Baltic Sea region: port reception facilities for sewage from passenger ships, liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) bunkering infrastructure, onshore power supply, energy management in ports and terminals.

Green InfraPort- sustainable green infrastructure facilities project was cofinanced by EUSBSR Seed Money Facility.

Seed money is EU funding to prepare projects that contribute to one of the priority areas or horizontal actions of the EU Strategy for the Baltic Sea Region. Partners that receive seed money funding will draft a project plan that can be further developed into an application to any of the EU or national funding sources e.g. the European Structural & Investment Funds programmes 2014-2020. The seed money grant can be used to finance staff, costs for external services and experts as well as travel, accommodation and meeting costs.

The project ended with publishing a report Green InfraPort – Sustainable Infrastructure in Baltic ports. The report is available under the request.
