Objectives and scope of works

To promote and disseminate the latest knowledge and advances in the areas of transport, logistics, energy, environment, infrastructure, economic development, utilization of marine resources and related areas.

To promote and support the development of innovative, environmentally friendly technologies and solutions to support efficiency and better use of natural resources, energy production.

Promoting management systems to reduce the impact of economic activity on the environment, in particular in the areas of transport and energy, both in the private and public.

Initiating cooperation and projects with local authorities, government, NGOs and the private sector.

Initiating and promoting dialogue between the public, private, media and social environments.

Support for economic development and regional labor markets, in particular in the areas mentioned in point 1.

Advocacy interest groups to governments and legislative bodies whose objectives are in line with the objectives of the Foundation.

Foundation pursues its goals and objectives through activities in the areas:

Conducting research, analysis, evaluations and studies.

Implementing Projects that aim the public administration and the private sector.

Conducting educational activities, trainings, courses, studies, lectures.

Conducting and participating in consulting activities.

Organising seminars, conferences, meetings and promotional events.

Preparing opinions, comments about planned legislation and policies.

Conducting and supporting the activities of lobbying in legislative processes that may affect the achievement of the objectives of the foundation.


LNG in Baltic Sea Ports

Works in ‘LNG in Baltic Sea Ports’ projects  (EUSBSR flagship project). Within the project, ‘Motus Foundation’ has been involved with the preparation of ‘LNG Handbook’ focused on best practices and how to develop LNG infrastructure in the Baltic Ports.

HEKLA – Helsingborg & Klaipeda LNG Infrastructure Facility Deployment

Motus Foundation has been assigned to perform the ‘LNG campaign and LNG market development’ activity within HEKLA Project. Both projects have been funded by EU fund, TEN-T Fund and Connecting Europe Facility (CEF) respectively.

Green InfraPort

Motus Foundation is an active partner of the recently approved ‘Green InfraPort’ project within the EUSBSR Seed Money Facility.

Go LNG 2

Motus Foundation is an active partner of the recently approved ‘Go LNG 2’ project within the ‘Interreg Baltic Sea Region Programme’.
